There is a disturbance in the Force.  Namely, a name change.  Solo: A Star Wars Story star, Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, aka Lando Calrissian will now be known as Childish Gambino Pacino Casino.

A nickname loving rep for the ubiquitous actor/musician, and now Disney fueled Star Wars alum, had this to say about the breathtaking fame name game news, “Childish Gambino will now be called Gambino Pacino Casino.  Get it?  Got it?  Good!  We are beyond excited to have to call our talented client ever more names!  When we feel really name game happy, we even call him Donald Glover Childish Gambino Pacino Casino!  The name game never gets old for us!  Honestly!”

What will this mean come another Solo: A Star Wars Story – will the posters and other marketing materials have to be considerably super sized for the actor’s name change?

Childish Gambino Pacino Casino’s nickname loving rep continued, “We don’t anticipate having to have that trouble – as we’re thinking there will never be another unnecessary chapter to Solo – but who knows, never say never right?  They made sequels to The Matrix – and we all know we didn’t need them! “

Star Wars fans boast a long and illustrious history of loving wacky character names.  Elan Sleazebaganno, Sy Snootles, Therm Scissorpunch, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi – etc.  The cosmic name list goes on and on.  Now, an actor’s name can be added to the fun, when Childish Gambino Pacino Casino joins the wild, fame name game list.
