Elton John is retiring, and that’s going to mean an epic farewell tour of the whole world. The veteran British rocker’s career spans over 5 decades, with so many beloved hit songs, it’s hard to pick just one. One of the more popular is the fast paced, 1950’s vibe and early rock textured Crocodile Rock. Now, as a musical treat to both his own loyal fan base and Star Trek fans, John has composed and will sing a variation on the merry pop rock tune – let’s all get ready for Crocodile Spock.
Spock Will Be A Croc
“Elton John can’t wait to bring passionate Star Trek fans into his pop music fold. What better way to accomplish such a cosmically incredible feat than to rename one of his most exceptional songs after one of Trek’s most beloved and iconic characters?”, said Johnny Alltuney, John’s long time managerial rep.
Rock music fans and those fabled sci-fi Trekkers will band together to boogie down to the song once Sir Elton John launches his farewell gig. The newly minted song and the retirement tour promises to be a real crock of rock fun for all involved. Live Long and Spock Rock!
