Rebel Wilson will soon be using the Force.  Star Wars Rebels, the wildly popular animated series based on the sci-fi universe created by George Lucas, is giving us the one and only actress and comedian Rebel Wilson.  Yes, SWR fans can now watch the hilarious Wilson use the Force to strengthen the good fight against the empire.  Will the creative pairing hit a false note or become pitch perfect?

Her Name Is Rebel So Why Not?

“They’re already using my name, aren’t they?  Rebel is my name.  And there is this show called Star Wars Rebels.  Pretty easy peasy, right?  So why not play along?  It’s pretty simple, isn’t it?  Come watch my animated me!” shouted Wilson, as she watched previews of herself starring on the sci-fi toon show.

The actress became even more animated as the preview continued.  “The animation is beyond ace.  I look so amazing.  Don’t I?  See me using the lasersaber?  That’s intense Jedi action.  I am now a real Jedi.  I trained to do that for months!  Star Wars Rebels is so much better with yous truly in it!”
