Star Trek gave us 79 original episodes. In 1966, we were introduced to the comedy shenanigans of Harry Mudd and the creepy power of Charlie X. We saw Captain Kirk split into two and some of us rooted for his evil side. Trek’s original 79 tales are still dynamic enough to trend on Netflix. Creator Gene Roddenberry created a science fiction classic which still engages us over 50 years from its birth.
