Captain Picard doesn’t seem to have any real luck or true command ability dealing with lights.  He’s a more than competent Starfleet commander, with an unerring ability to straighten his uniform at the precise moment.  However, when it comes to his experiences with lights, let’s just say he’d rather be digging away at some ancient archaeological dig.  I wonder how many lights he brings to them?  Or maybe he simply brings some good old fashioned candlesticks.

If Lwanna, Counselor Troi’s mom came calling, I’m sure Jean-Luc Picard would be able to fire up those lights quickly – if only to head for the hills.
